Rear rattling noise trunk area also squeaking 2007 elantra

Try checking the heat shields on the exhaust pipe up front under the car. Alot of times they will loosen up, and begin to rattle. You can ither remove them, or try to clamp them.

Take it back to the repair shop and tell them to fix it (that it didn't do it before the repair).

We have had our 07 Entourage in for all kinds of squeeks and rattles and for the squeeks coming from the rear they've only come up securing seat belts and that if I paid $110 they'd see if the could fix the rear door to make it stop squeeking. We put extra padding in between the door and the sill and it helped but this is BY FAR the noisiest car we've ever owned (and we've had a lot of clunkers).
