3 months old. accidently put lock on windows with window half way down on front passenger side. now cant get lock off and none of the windows other than driver window will work.
I replaced the switches on the door panel on the driver side of my 2008 sonata. After a few months when I put the passenger window down from the driver side it does not go up right away. If I wait about 5 minutes it will then go up. What could be the problem?
I got no power at switch in back and window is stuck down the switch 0n drivers door wont put it up either all other switches work fine
Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.

I don't know everything there is to know about window motors, but I have seen this before, both mine went out at the same time, not together but a couple weeks apart, like they were dated. Anyway, I replaced both motors, then both operators. Now they both work fine. I would hang on to the old motor, you never know, it might be good, You might have a bad switch on the door, I had to take my switches apart on my other truck and clean the contacts, got both motors working again, Hope this helps.

Hi,
the window winder handle has a spring "E" clip so you need to use a this blade and turn the handle till you can see one of the edges of the clip and then push the blade in against the edge of the clip to push it of. NOTE: the clip is under a little pressure so when it comes of it will try to flick of quickly so try to keep your hand around so to catch it.
Then its just the door panel clips which are around the edges of the door panel just pop these off with a good sized screw driver all the way around, some of them will be quite tight so you will need to use a little force.
When putting the window winder back on push the clip back on slightly but not all the way then push handle on slowly when it is all the way on give it a sharp bang so that the clip will lock back in place.
Hope this helps, let me know how you get on.
Jason

could be the driver side master window switch... if the driver side window switch assembly is broken then the windows will not work... try using a test light to see if you got power to the with and and ohm meter to check all four switches on the drivers side
