I done one a few weeks ago. all you have to do is mark all your wires and attachments. remove the whole front suspension you have to have the right tools it's a fairly big job but take your time and you should be able to do it. make sure you replace your throw out bearing also

SOURCE: how to replace timing belt in 1990 toyota camry

It would be to hard to tell and show you over the computer.
The best way for you is to buy a Chilton manual for your car at the autoparts store. The book runs about $20
This book is a do-it-yourself bible. It will show you everything you need to know on how to do maintenance and repair on your vehicle.

HI JKO,

Serpentine Belt. There is a trick.

Click here for a procedure I wrote. It's quick and you don't need a prybar.

You will no doubt find it very helpful.

When I switch my 2005 envoy xl into all whell drive and then drive, when I get out it smells like burnt rubber. It does not smell like that when in 2wd. What could it be?

You can't use 4 wheel on dry or even wet pavement. It must be snow dirt gravel or mud. Pavement will just burn up your tires because the front Axel pulls faster than the rear. When you have good grip there is a friction fight between front and rear tires.

My 1999 range rover its an all whell drive what could happen if i disconnect the front drive shaft and use it as two well drive

I have had to do this on a couple of occasions due to front propshaft failure, the system thinks the front wheels are spinning and therefore pushes all power to the rear, this should cause no long term affects.

The 4 wheel drive with a turn knob control will

take the four wheel drive actuator out of the front differential let it hang while still plugged in and have somebody watch and see if it retracts when the 4 whell drive is switched from 2 to 4 whell drive. If not then accuator is probably bad.

Will not go into 4-whell drive. Floor shift seems to work OK but 4-whell light does not come on and it does not lock the hubs

You most likely have a defective part in the front differential. Typically, the transfer case is O.K Repair is not to costly.

Radio manuel for "94 Plymouth Voyager

Try "google images" and see if you can find picture of face on your radio, that may help jog memory. Unless you have model or at least name on front, and anything else it says.

Ford escord 1998

Hello,
It would appear that the front caliper assy (namely the piston) is in a near frozen or seized position. This mostly happens to the front passenger side (the side nearest the curb while driving) due to the puddles in the road.

My advice to you is to replace the caliper assembly and bleed the braking system as soon as possible as it is a safety hazard. You may find that your new brake pads on the affected side will have prematurely already been worn down a bit also!

Good Luck!

Truck shakes in four whell drive

I think you may have a problem with the drive shaft angle being to steep, check with a drive line shop for the correct angle, the make special wedge shaped shims to correct this problem.
