The blue temp light indicates that the engine is cold and has not yet come up to optimal running temperature. When the car shut off, were there any warning lights on? It could have overheated, the red temp light would have been on. Is the check engine light on at all?

The Coolent warning light in blue stays on for a long period after starting and then comes back on again for certain lengths of time during longer journeys. Sometimes it also flashes on and off. We topped...

Sounds as if your thermostat may be stuck in the open position, causing it to run too cool. The car runs optimally at a certain temp if the PCM (computer) sees a temp lower than it should be the light comes on. Or the temp light is just plain faulty (crossed wires, bad ground etc)

I've recently bought a Toyota Yaris T3 D4D 2005 plate. There was no manual with the car so I'm having problems finding my way around the engine! (have one on order). I have a blue temp gauge light?...

Hi Christine, the blue temp light is telling you that the motor is cold, it will go off once the engine has warmed up, nothing to worry about as it is normal, you will notice that it does not have a temperature gauge like some other cars, that is why they have the light, if the red temp light goes on switch the vehicle off immediately, this is telling you that it is overheating, they are very good cars, my father has one, enjoy :)

I just had alot of work done on my 2000 beetle and now a yellow light that looks like the shape of the car with a lttle key is coming on. Also a blue temp gauge light comes on in the morning. What do these...

I would have the car rechecked for codes. The blue temp gauge light, may have something to do with the cooling system.

I would definitely have it checked by the dealer or the last place it was serviced in order to see how serious the problems are.

I don't think it's not a big deal, but anytime there are warning lights that go on for an extended period of time, there is potential for a more serious break down at an inopportune moment.

So, have it checked out.

A blue warning light keeps coming on on mitsubushi colt 58 reg, it is below the red warning light squiggly lines with thermometer, the blue warning light is exactly the same just blue, what does this mean.

It is a low coolant temperature light. IT is normal for the light to come on when starting the engine from cold but should go out after a couple of miles, if not then consult a dealer.

Blue temp light blinks

The blue temperature light will blink until the car is up to operating temperature. This is VWs way of telling you to take it easy until the light goes out. If the light stays on all the time you need to have the engine temperature checked to insure that the car is operating in the proper temperature range and if it is then you must check the sensor for the low temp warning system. It may be malfunctioning.

On the interior roof warning lights there are two lights that keep coming on(orange and red) that look like snow flakes. What sre these warning lights for?

These are outside temp. warning lights. The Yellow light goes on when the outside temp. dips to 40 degrees to let you know that there is a possibility of frost. The Red light goes on when outside temp. dips to 30 degrees suggesting a possibility of icy conditions.

2004 toyota sienna warning lights

That symbol is the low tire pressure light. You have a tire that is right at the minimum threshold. The light goes off as the tire temperature rises, and, as the temp rises, the internal air pressure also rises slightly. Just check the tires with a good pressure gauge, inflate them to the specs printed on the tag inside your driver's side door, and you will be just fine.
