My 2002 Olds Intrigue is making a loud "wind tunnel" noise when I accelerate. It starts at about 30 mph, then dies down at about 45 mph. Probably a broken seal somewhere around the edge of the windshield

SOURCE: transmission seems to not winding down

shoudl b a separate dip stick to transmision & to check car has to b running...if that dont solve the problem if fluids r fin need to replace/rebuild trany

bad wheel speed sensor and bad wheel bearing will cause traction control kick on.have vechicle code scan to find out what cause traction control to kick on and make noise.

98% sure you have an axle problem. Might be wheel bearings depending on the sound. Bad axles will make a loud clicking noise, (click click click in rapid succession, espically while turning or under accleration) while wheel bearings will make a growling sounds.
