Idle speed seems too fast and rough, 1994 BMW 318ic

Our 1994 BMW 318ic seems to be idling too fast and too rough...the car vibrates. The car has been tuned within the past year. Any easy soltuions....things that a fairly handy car owner can do?

    RECENTLY TUNED BUT STILL VERY ROUGH IDLE, AND A/C KEEPS CUTTING ON AND OFF CONSTANTLY, COLD AIR COMES FROM THE VENTS BUT WHEN THE FAN IS TURNED ON HOT AIR STARTS TO FLOW .

It could be a few things, I check the idle control valve...it could be dirty. Second it could be the O2 sensor.

Sounds like a vacuum leak, check and listen under the hood at each vacuum connection and hose.

My Chevy 2500, 2001 runs rough when it cold outside
It can be issue with low fuel pressure,the fuel pump is getting old both needs to be checked.Also get the IAC valve checked.

Fast idle after warm up .already changed IAC valve
fast idle is many times caused by a engine intake vacuum leak, use a can of carb spray and spray the top of the engine for leaks, if u hit one u will hear the eng change idle speed, also look for split or leaking vacuum hoses.
