SOURCE: rear climate control fans blowing cold

That sounds to me like your vent "tubing" is disconnected somewhere along the line. I am not sure exactly how it is set up in the vehicle you are driving, but I am certain fixing it will involve taking apart most all of your interior then putting it back together after a 10 minute fix.

SOURCE: hot air on passenger side and cold air on driver

if you have the separate climate controls the unit might have shorted out and caused the heater coil to be constantly engaged

SOURCE: bmw x3 2006 air conditionning system does not work

you will have to inspect the blend doors. These are the ones that control the flow of the air in the AC duct. It is under the dashboard. There might be loose linkages or parts that you may just need fitting or a bad motor for the door.

Take battery cable off for 5 mins, then put battery cable back on. Insert your key into the ignition turn to on but don't start the vehicle wait 5 seconds turn back off repeat the key on/off three times. This initiates a re calibration of climate control equipment and actuators. It will fix your problem.

Loose or broken drive belt
Inoperative compressor or slipping compressor clutch
Defective expansion valve
Clogged expansion valve, receiver-drier or liquid refrigerant line
Blown fuse
Leaking component: any of the parts listed above or one of the A/C lines, hoses or seals. Most A/C repairs are best left to a specialist repairer or garage. Recharging the refrigerant, in particular, requires special equipment that most people don't own. There are a couple things you can do, however.
First, make sure to have the system checked regularly according to your vehicle's owner's manual - in the Scorpios case that's every 10,000 miles.
Second, if you live in a place with a cold climate, it might not make much sense to run the A/C during the winter months, but many A/C technicians recommend running your A/C system regularly, because it contains a light mineral oil in the refrigerant to keep the compressor properly lubricated. The general rule of thumb is 10 minutes per month. The Scorpio heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems also engage the A/C compressor when the distribution control is in defrost mode.

2007 Chevy Silverado dual climate control, even if passenger side is not on it blows cold air on passenger side and hot on driver side when in heat mode, also noticed cold air on driver side when A/C is on...

Just had this happen today to my 2007 silverado heat on the right side cold air on the left side. After engine was off 15 minutes and restarted heat was on both sides. I'm guessing a relay failed to open door to allow the heat to flow thus blowing cold air.will monitor diligently for a while.

Passenger side blows hot air when front control set to Air

you cant adjust it ,this requires the dealers computer to re set it,or a phyiscal control has packed up like a vacumn pipe has split where it pushes onto the valve that controls the flap in the heater unit.
