SOURCE: window winder handle

the window winder consists of two parts - the handle part and the round part. if you look at the round part, you will see that it consists of two parts. the bottom part can in actual fact be pushed forward (this is the part closest to the door panel). if you push this forward it will un click and you can remove it.
hope this helps

The door panel has plastic clips that hold it in place also. Put a thin blade screwdriver between the panel and door. Pry the panel away from the door. The panel will make a loud snapping noise, that is the clip coming out of the retaining hole. Sometimes the clips break.

Toyota Tazz window winder

Toyota Tazz driver side window refused to wind properly. Problem was that winder mechanism and window separated - old glue. Found some input from Ben on this forum. Some pointers after doing the job today.
Step 1 - remove the arm rest - two screws
Step 2 - remove the screw holding the door opener handle.
Step 3 - remove the C-clip holding the winder handle. The clip is round but the ends are slightly bent outward - to fit back easily. Use a large screwdriver to force a small opening (thus moving the panel slightly inward). I took a piece of thin solid wire and bent it into a loop. This looped wire I hooked around the one end of the clip and pulled in the opposite direction towards the inside of the car. The open end is towards the part of the handle you wind. Make sure the top of the handle faces towards the interior of the car (door is open wide). The clip shot off (as Ben warned) but landed in the car.
Step 4 - the door handle (square) must be slid forward and outward towards you. Will now be loose but is held by the rod going to the lock.
Step 5 - loosen all clips carefully by pulling the panel forward - large screwdriver works.
Step 6 - lift up the panel - and push the door handle holder through the hole in the panel. The panel will now be free.
Step 7 - the window can be removed in this case where window and mechanism seperated by simply pulling the window upwards and outwards.
Step 8 - I used a small grinder and removed most of the glue - but not all.
Step 9 - put the window back into the door making sure it is correctly aligned in the side-sliders.
Step 10 - I used an epoxy 2-part glue (Pratley) and placed some glue in the holders. Position the window and mechanism correctly (using glue I left as marker). Note that only 2 holes in door panel can be used to see or fit glue.
Step 11 - Mix more glue and apply front and back. Now place some grease in the mechanism rail (horizontal) and wind window to the top. Leave to dry.
Step 12 - replace all in reverse. Clip pushes on easily - I used a small long-nose pliers.

How do i remove door panel to get window runner

The panel is usually a pop button type retainers holding the panel on, Obviously all screws will have to be removed ie; grab handle, internal door opening lever, and the window winder,
TIP remove window winder handle with a shoe lace or a lenght of thin material , it's a horseshoe shaped spring clip holding the winder handle on and pulling the shoe lace or material in the opposite direction of clip will easily remove clip (don't loose ) Good luck

What are the steps to replace the passenger side, sideview mirror.

if not electric, remove the screw in the end of the adjustment lever inside the car, remove the cover, undo the three bolts & it should pretty much fall off. If its electric you may have to remove the door panel 1st to access the plug. To remove the door panel carefully remove the inner door opener surround (it will either have a screw in the middle or be clipped on) if its clipped on be very carefull, they break. remove the bungs & screws holding the inner door handle on & possibly the elec window switch or winder if its not electric (small circlip behind base of winder, use hook or small screwdriver) remove any other screws you can see. CAREFULLY pull on the door panel popping the clips behind bit by bit.

I need to remove the drivers internal door panel

Remove plastic studs from door closer. Unscrew three retaining screws. remove grab.
Unhook window winder retaining clip. Best done with small long-nose pliers. window winder retaining clip located inside plastic winder handle section. Will need to prise away winder handle from door slightly to expose clip. locate and gently pull clip from winder shaft.
unscrew door opener / lock assembly retaining screw.
gently prise lower trim retaining press studs from door. remove lower trim.
gently , from rear of door, pull upper trim from door and similtaniously prise upper trim press studs from door.
gently giggle door opener / lock assembly through upper trim . remove trim
gently with flat blade, peel off plastic dust sheeting.
access to inside off door is now possible.
Reassembly reverse of above

Cheers !

My passenger window was smashed with a bottle (nice eh!) and need to change the glass. I am having problems removing the passenger door interior. I have removed the screws and clips but it is stuck around...

You need to take the window crank off.  There should either be a screw/bolt going straight into the handle where it is attached to the door (there may be a cover over it) or a clip on the back of the handle.  If there is no screw pry the handle out gently and look between the handle and the door panel - take a small screwdriver and pop off the clip holding the handle on.
