Do you have a sunroof?you might need to clean drain tubes.have you had a windshield replaced?or it could be a body seem.you will need to remove panels and lift up corner of the carpet and run the garden hose over the area and check for water in vehicle.

SOURCE: When it rains hard the front passenger side floor

Check the front 'cowl' area, (located between the hood and the windshield). A lot of junk can accumulate inside through the slots. This is where air is drawn into the car for ventilation. If leaves and pine needles build up inside, it can rust through, allowing rain into the vehicle. Also check under the hood, near the passenger compartment, at the fire wall. I have a 96 Pontiac that leaked there into the drivers side due to rusting from leaves and junk. You should also check the windshield seal, and possibly the door seal, as water could enter from one point and travel a ways before hitting the carpet. You might also want to have someone hold a hose on the car, in one location for a while, to see if you can narrow the possible locations. Good luck.

SOURCE: Water leak on the passanger side of a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport

The first place I would look is the floor board caps. Make sure one or more of them aren't pushed up, allowing water to enter the cabin. Also, because your defroster is probably on while it's raining, make sure the A/C drain plug isn't clogged. It's a small rubber fiting that sticks out from inside the firewall, behind the engine. Simply pull it out and clean it. When you pull it out, you might be surprised to see water coming out of the hole!

Just a couple things to check. I hope this helps! :)

SOURCE: I have water leaking into the rear passenger side

Check the door weather stripping for rips. If it only leaks when driving, check the floorpan for rust holes.

SOURCE: rain water in coming in at the floor board of my

First you have to determine where the leak is coming from. You could have a windshield leak and it is running down and collecting on the floor. The floor boards could be starting to rust out , a door seal could be bad. This is a problem that will take time and patience to find. Once you have determined where the leak is coming from then you can procede with the proper repairs.

Water in floor on drivers side front and rear

Firstly is it rain water or coolant? dab it with a kleenex and see if it is coloured if it is then the heater core is leaking, if not then you have to hunt for the leak, water will travel from the front to back so see if water is coming from the bottom of the door trim and flooding over the rubber seal, otherwise look carefully around the screen, then you have to search under the dash, it is a detective job. has anything happened recently to the Jeep?

Knob on air conditioner not working right and cruise control stopped working at same time

It is a vacuum leak under the hood. If it is a six cylinder, look on the driver side of the intake manifold for a L shaped fitting that usually pops off. If it is a V8 the leak may be near the battery.

2000 Grand Cherokee Dashboard leak

Maybe. If you have a fixed antenna on that side of the vehicle, the large rubber gromet on the wire leading into the passenger compartment may have come out, allowing lots of rain water to enter the vehicle. Happened on my 94 and flooded the passenger side.
