I have a 2004 Volvo c70 I found the transmission dip stick but I can't get it out of the tube

Most of those tubes in most cars are "forced" into a hole in the transmission housing, so please do not try too hard to pull it out,
lest you pull the tube out of the hole.
If you did, you might not be able to get it back in.
Any Volvo dealer can help you with this problem.
God bless your efforts.

How do I add transmission fluid to a Volvo c70

Pour it right down the dip stick tube with a long funnel, auto parts stores carry the funnels for this.

Where is the pcv valve located on a 1998 c70

There isnt' one. Volvos are equipped with vent-box located underneath the intake manifold. Remove the oil dip stick tube and then the intake manifold and remove the box. Install a new breather box and make sure to clean the lines going to and from the box. If the breather box gets clogged, oil will push from the oil filler cap, dip stick tube and worst case, blow through the engine seals.

Milky color oil on dip stick. 1998 volvo xc70

That would be a blown head gasket. Do not drive your vehicle like this or you can cause serious damage to the engine.

Dear Sir, I have a 2001 C-70 convertable and it shifts hard. I want to check the transmission fluid and possible add some if needed but I don't know what type of fluid to put in or where to put it.I don't...

Access to the transmission dip stick is not easy. It is hidden deep under tube and wiring beneath the air intake tube near the battery, it has a yellow top labelled 'Trans' and has a clip that secures the top in place. Check the fluid level when the engine is running and the transmission is in 'park'. If low find some suitable hose to locate it into the dip stick tube and then fit a funnel in the end of this 'extension'. The fluid specified is AW5, Volvo part number 1161540-8, do not use anything else as some fluids do not mix well. Add fluid about a pint a time and check the level each time.
