SOURCE: 2005 CHEVY +TRAIL BLAZER ABS AND BRAKE LIGHTS ON

When the ABS light is on when driving there is a problem in the anti lock brake system and you will need to have it tested to find out what the problem is. As long as the light is on the ABS has been shut off by the computer until it is repaired. There could be problems with one of the wheel speed sensors, wiring or the ABS pump. On some vehicles the red brake light will come on too.

SOURCE: where is the pcv valve on the 2005 chevy trail blazer

Dear hispeed3,

If you haven't bought the part yet and are planning on replacing it ...i'd go to the auto parts store and ask them for the part location. They are usually glad to do this. I know Advanced Auto Parts does this for me.

SOURCE: M y radio stopped working on my 2004 trail blazer

The 2004 Trailblazer has two fuse panels, one in the under hood and one under the middle row seats. The radio fuse is marked RADIO fuse # 41 and is a 15 amp fuse located in the rear fuse panel. To access the rear fuse panel flip the seat behind the driver to the upright position, under it you can see the fuse panel and a diagram should be on the under side of the cover.

Good luck and hope this helps.

Headlight for 2004 trail blazer

If it's just a bulb replacement open the hood and with one hand push in on the headlight, with the other hand inside, pull up on the white plastic retaining clip. This will release the bulb. Pull it out forward, then replace with new bulb (be careful not to touch the new bulb, oil from the hands can cause bulb to burst.)

If you need to replace the whole headlight assembly I would try buying used for a better price.

My 2004 Chevy Impala right head light won't come

There are right and left fuses for the headlights. The dimmer switch and headlight switch provide the ground circuit.
Do you have power at the fuse ?

My Headlights are so dim that I cant drive at night in my 1997 Chevy Blazer. How Can I get them brighter?

You have to go back to the route cause & time
frame of the problem

Did you check voltage & ground at each lamp connector,
when they first got dim & you started to resolve things?

Why converter to a different bulb?
I don't know the current draw of the oe vs: the H4,but
that has to be considered

Obviously the alternator output would be up there at the
same time your checking lamp connector voltage.

Problem--Voltage Drop somewhere or too much resistance

Electrical Problem for '04 Chevy Trail Blazer-the ABS and Emergency Brake light will come on and ding. When this happens, the blower for my heat/AC stops working. It still gets warm, but the blowe

that is strange. for the ABS has its own relay and so does the heater blower motor. they do not share the same outlet , I would check the wire at the bottom of the fuse box

Low beams on 2004 chevy trailblazer wont work but high beams work fine.lights all work automaticly

Try changing the bulbs. No. They didn't both burn out at once. You probably drove for a while with one headlight, and didn't know it.

License plate lights quit working on 2004 chevy s10 blazer

Usually this is due to a poor ground . Make sure the bulb is good & clean the black ground wire or ground matting surfaces. Good luck.

Low Beam Ligths on 2004 Chevrolet Trail Blazer not Working

Check fuses & bulbs first, The headlight bulbs may be twin filiment type in which case the lower filliment may be blown & the upper filliment or highbeam will still work in this case replace your bulbs. But these models are renowned for having negative earthing problems. Follow the negative (-) or black lead from the battery to the point it is bolted to the vehicle. make sure there is good metal on metal contact with the negative lead & the vehicle. Then check the negative that comes out of the lowbeam headlight socket insure clean metal on metal contact. If you still cant find a fault, contact a chevy technician.

Front lights do not turn on.

This is, in fact, correct. The problem you're describing I just repaired. The problem is a relay in the fuse panel. There are two identical black relays, one for the headlights on/off function and the other is for the fan clutch. Please do not just swap one for the other, if your headlights are not switching off and swapping these relays appears to solve your problem, this would indicate that the initial relay is faulty and needs to be replaced. Operating your vehicle with a blown relay in the fan clutch's fuse panel will result in your vehicle eventually overheating. The part cost me about $40 from my nearest Chevy dealer and was easy enough for any novice to replace on their own.
