I first thought the fuel pump was out so I took the lines off to change the pump and noticed it didnt have a good connection so I connected the wires to test and the pump worked put everything back together and started the car, tried to drive it, it seems like there must be air in the line. car did start but doesnt have full power when you step on it. turned the car off now it won't start.

looked it up online, looks like its in the underhood fuse box but couldn't get a good diagram that shows which relay number it is. the website i use is sort of dependent on the manufacturer, apparently acura did not feel like sharing that info. hope that helps

for you to check if it is the fuel pump, see if there is fuel running out of the hose if you remove the fuel filter. Another is to directly connect the pump to the battery. If the pump works that way, then it could be a efi relay issue which is found underneath the dash or a wiring issue.

The fuel pump on all models except the 1986-90 Integra, is located in the fuel tank. On the 1986-90 Integra the fuel pump is located under the rear of the vehicle, near the drivers side of the fuel tank.
PRESSURE TESTING
See Figure 1
On all models, the fuel pump should run for about 2 seconds when the ignition is first turned ON . By removing the filler cap and listening at the filler, it should be possible to hear the pump run each time the ignition is switched ON . It will then stop again until the starter is activated.
