Remove screw on panal around handle that opens car. remove 2 screws underneath handle that pulls door closed. check around door panal edge for screws and if so remove them. Now remove panal by prying slightly around edges or panal as to pull the clips loose. Dont bother if some break, they can be easly replaced and dont cost much at all. I always use a still putty knife to help pry panal off. This insures you dont crack panal while pulling on it. Once thjis is dont you will have access to the switch...Simply replace it and place panal back on and HEY !! you did it..... hope this helps and if so Please leave rating on this post and good luck..

SOURCE: :Remove key switch on `91 Ford Taurus?

If you mean the switch that the key cylinder operates, it should be near the floor on the steering column. You just disconnect the harness and remove two screws.
You have to remove the cover around the steering wheel and push a pin to remove the key lock. There are videos on YouTube to do that.

I have a 2000 Ford Taurus sedan and the back driver side window is the only one that has power, what could be the problem?

power at the back driver's door switch or at the driver's master switch? if power on the master switch cotrols the lr window then you most likely have bad master window switch. if the lr door switch is used to control the lr window then most like you have three bad window motors.

Passenger side window wont go up? Was working perfect until last nite just quit. all other windows work.

If both window switches on the driver's side and passengers side do not work most likely it is the Power Window Regulator. You will need to remove the passengers door panel and remove the plastic water shield and check the voltage at the regulator connection. If it has a voltage when the window switch is pressed then you can order the regulator at the below link, or if you can find it cheaper or locally you can purchase it from them.

1997 Ford Taurus - automatic windows The passenger side front window and driver side rear window won't open. The other two windows are working OK. Any suggestions?

nothing is common between these two windows that wound NOT affect the other two so with the information you provided it sounds like a defective master window switch

replace with a known good or do the following...
Remove the master switch
disconnect the harness from the switch
provide a good power to the harness pin #3 white/yellow
provide a good ground to the harness pin #4 tan/lt blue

again, assuming all the other window work with all the other switches then again it sounds like the master switch is the cause

Ford Taurus Window won't go up

If you are hearing the clicking from the power window relay the only things left would be a break in a wire or a failed window lift motor. If this window only goes down but not up I would inspect the wiring at the door jamb for a damaged wire. If this fails to go either way I would remove the panel, insert test light into the lift motor leads (X2)and actuate the switch, if I get power then I would replace the lift motor. If you get no power in one direction - test switch.

Windows have stopped working

First check the fuses if you have not done so. You will need to remove the door panel to get to the driver side window switch, the power for all of the windows enters through the driver side switch. Use a multi meter to determine if power is reaching the switch, if it is not, run a temporary wire from the fuse panel to the switch and see if that will work the windows. If it now works you know the problem is a bad wire. If you are getting power to the switch but not power out the other side you know the switch is bad and must be replaced.
