Turn ignition off / hold down the trip reset button / while holding down trip reset turn key to the on position and wait about ten seconds or the light goes out. You also can look at a online owners manual at www.ServiceExpress.Honda.com

My maintenance light is staying on,so the oil got changed. It's still on

Look up reseting a 2005 Honda accord oil change light. There is usually a forward bkward roll of the key in a timed sequence.
tip

Civic, Prelude, and Acura (Honda) Integra maintenance light reset.

On the typical Honda gauge layout, there is a small, rectangular, recessed button directly to the left of the "Maintenance Required" light. Using a key, you can press this button in, With the key off, hold down the trip meter reset button. turn the key on and continue holding the reset button in until the maintenance light goes off, about 10 seconds. which will cause the light to turn green. The maintenance light (at least on Civic) will come on about every 4000 miles if not reset (for oil changes), and also periodically for other scheduled maintenance.

NEEDS MAINTENANCE light on at 46,666 miles

The light comes on at fairly short intervals ... even to let you know that you need an oil change. The mileage at which it comes on will depend on when it was reset last time. Here's a link to Yahoo Answers to turn the light off yourself.

My honda civic si 02, have the lights maintenance required on. i wanna know what can be the problem

If its the maint light, thats what it needs. The owners manual has a chart of what to have done at what mileage. If you have not been following the Maint schedule, then all bets are off, and you wont get the life or mileage from the car it should have. You can turn the light off, but its there to help you maintain the car. To turn it off, hold the trip reset button in and turn the ign key to on, and keep holding the button intil the light goes off. (10 seconds)

Reset maintenance light

If I remember correctly, on the dash you have a select button. Hold the button down then turn the key on, until the maintenance light blinks and goes out. Turn the key off then back on and your light should be out.
