SOURCE: Fuel pump is not working.

All you have to do is lift the back seat up to see if access panel is there, if not then you have to drop the tank. Fuel switch if it has one would be located on the back qtr panels in the trunk, move the plastic panels or rug from the side panels. More than likely if there is one it would be on the left. If not then connect a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail and turn the switch to on or try to get someone to crank the car, read the guage. Pressure should be around 40 psi. If no pressure then eather the connecters to the pump is loose or the pump is bad. In that situation if there is no access panel under the back seat, then you have to remove the tank.

SOURCE: mazda protege fuel pump 02

to take the seat out you have to pull up on it hard. before u start connect the neg. side of the battery. open the gas cap to help to let the or some of the pressure out of the tank.remove the fuel pump cover and unplug the electrical connector and disconnect the wire on top of the fuel pump. disconnect the fuel supply and return hoses from the pump. be careful when trying to unscrew to screws you might have to tip on them to loosing up the lock tight that was put on the screws from the factory. than carefully lift the pump out. disconnect the electrical and move the hose clamp clear the pump fitting. remove the band securing the pump to the bracket and bracket at the bottom of the pump with the rubber mount. remove pump and always remember that gasoline is extremely flammable so take extra precautions when you work on any part of the fuel system. good luck.

SOURCE: my 2005 rx8 is leaking

Would have to be the high pressure line from the pump. It may just be the short hose that connects the pump to the main fuel line. Take the access cover off and turn the key on briefly to see where it is leaking. A hose is easy to replace. Let me know if you get stuck.

On many vehicles the fuel pump is accessable from above the tank. For Toyotas it is under the rear seat, there is a plate that is removeable to repalce the pump.

It could be in the trunk for the olds.

Fuel pump location mercedes 300e

This is an experienced guess, probably in the fuel tank. Fuel injected right? Bosch system? My Jaguar, Porsche and Alfa Romeo all have fuel pumps in the fuel tank.

If you raise the car you can visually look for a pump from the back of the car to the engine, bet you won't find the fuel pump, it's in the tank.

Fuel Pump Relay Switch

Underneath your hood, behind the passenger side headlight, behind the core support, is a bank of 2-8 relays. One of those relays is the relay needed for your fuel pump. There will also be a fuel pump relay fuse located there. The relay designation should be on the cover of the relay compartment.
