My car is bucking.

I was driving home from a longer than usual trip and it started bucking bad up a hill when it got up in 4000 rpm range so I backed off and it stopped. On the interstate it started doing it when I would get above 3000 so I kept the speed down to keep it below that, then it started doing it to the point I thought it was going to die in the middle of the road, I babied it all the way home on a wing and a prayer. I have read a lot but nothing seems to make sense to me. Can someone shed some light.

Sound like the car is not recharging the battery as you drive. Take it to a different shop and ask them to test the alternator and entire charging system as well as the battery.

My 2004 mazda b 2300 (105,000 miles) "bucks" when i shift up (usually at about 2000 rpm or less)

The engine may misfire and/or buck while driving at freeway speeds with no fault code stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This can be caused by an intermittent fault with the camshaft synchronizer assembly. This condition can be diagnosed by monitoring knock sensor data as per Ford service bulletin #05-22-12. Replacement of the synchronizer assembly will be required to correct this concern.

CAR SURGES WHEN YOU ACCELERATE IN OVER DRIVE.

It may be the MAF sensor. In needs to be cleaned or replaced. Located on the throttle body, under the engine cover. Might need special anti-tamper Torx sockets to remove. 2 bolts. One wire connector.

I had to replace mine on 2002 3800 V6. Bucked and shook on moderate to hard acceleration at about 3500-4000 rpms.

I'm not sure but sounds like you might have a few vacum lines that are rotted and sucking air in them. I would start checking all your vacum lines to start with. good luck

THERE IS A TEMPERATURE SENSOR ON MOTOR WHICH CAUSES THIS PROBLEM... USUALLY IT SHOWS A NEGATIVE TEMP READING WHICH CONFUSES THE COMPUTER CAUSING IT TO REV UP....HAVE THE ENGINE DIAGNOSED ON A SCANNER....GOOD LUCK...

Car lurches and bucks, rpms erratic on acceleration on hills

You could have any of these problems:
1) vacuum leak- broken air hose or disconnected air hose.
2) water in the gasoline- add a water remover to you gas tank.
3) bad or disconnected spark plug wire(s).
If this were my Forester, I'd take it to a mechanic who has a electronic engine tester..

Bucking or cutting out when pedal to the floor

check your fuel filter. i might have to be in the needof changing. i am also having the same problem. not the chirping but when i get up to 3500-4000 rpm it cuts out and buckes. from previous vehicles i own usally its a bad fuel filter to carb rebulid. but with the new cars it usually is the fuel system. i would start with the fuel filter cause that is the cheap route. if problem exsist. then take it to a qualified mechanic that you trust that has knowledge and they can hook up pressure, vaccum meters to see what is going on.
