You might have a blown bulb. turn on 4 way flashers (hazard lamps), walk around vehicle and see which one is not working. Replace burned lamp.

SOURCE: turn signals suddenly stopped working. No blinking

First try your emergency 4 way flasher.

Do all, some or none of the lights come on.

If none it could be a fuse, either under the dash or in the engine bay. Or the flasher unit, usually under the dash.

If some, then you've got a couple of dead bulbs.

If all come on, your indicator switch is faulty.

SOURCE: I need to change the front right turn signal bulb

There are two 10mm bolts on top side and another one at its back side. However, removing these bolts isn't enough. You also have to remove a 10mm bolt at the front grill (on top, next to the headlamp assy) so the bumper/grill bezel can be moved a little to the side to allow you clearance to remove the headlamp assy.

Where is the location for the flasher for turn signals on a 2008 Kia Optima?

Its most likely located near or on the fuse panel(block). If not and its blinking at a fast rate, you should be able to turn on the ignition switch along with your turn signal and find it by the clicking sound. Hope this helps.

Where is the turn signal relay for my 2008 Taurus X?

There is no relay, the smart junction box controls this function.non servicable, closely inspect bulbs and sockets, any voltage drop in the signal circuit can cause this symptom.

Rapid right turn signal on dash but no right rear turn ligt at all

What that rapid turn signal on the dash means is, the rear turn signal tail light is burnt out. This is how you know the bulb is bad. Replace the burnt out tail light bulb and you will be back to normal.

2005 Lincoln Town Car - Right turn signal is rapid blinking. ALL bulbs and front and rear have been replaced. It is still rapid blinking only on the right side. Is there a fuse that needs to be replaced?...

You might check the courtesy cornering lights that illuminate and do not blink. These go on to shine on the front corners of the car. Since they use electric when the blinkers work, it may make the blinkers work faster if the cornering bulb is burned out. You probably are not noticing that the cornering light is not on.

Signal lights, fuse box and signal light relay in 2001 Volkswagen

The bulbs on these cars can be delicate. Some get replaced every year or so-( headlights, tail and brake) and some I've never touched in 8 years (my front turn signals and marker lights)

The fast blinking occurance is normal when a turn signal bulb goes out.

The rear lights are common to blow, I keep spares in the glovebox.

Make sure you were given the correct bulb, check to see that it works and isn't defective. Also there is an empty spot in the rear bulb holder- make sure you didn't mistakenly pop a bulb in there cause' it won't work.

The front right signal light is in the right headlight housing. Open the hood and on the back of the housing there are two plastic caps. One is curved and one is rectangular- you want to take off the rectangular one.

Open the drivers door and on the side of the dash there's a cover. This is the main fuse block. Use a coin or carefully with a screwdriver pry it open. To check a fuse pull it out, noting exactly where it came from, and visually inspect it to see if it is blown.

Fuse # 2- turn signal system
Fuse #4- License plate lights
Fuse #7- back up lights
Fuse #13- brake lights
Fuse #22- parking and side marker lights, right
Fuse #23- parking and side marker lights, left

The turn signal flasher is integrated into the hazzard button in the center of the dash. If all else is good and you suspect the flasher is bad, which is a good possibility, call a VW dealer and have them run your VIN# to check for recalls. The hazzard switch for some cars around your year had a recall on em'.

Jeep Liberty 2002 - I get a fast blink on the left turn signal (but a normal blink on the right). Where is the flasher located?

Normally when this happens you have a blown bulb on either the front or rear the fast blink is because with only one bulb working the flasher clicks it faster less of a load means faster blink.

Right turn signal

The rapid flashing normally means a blown bulb. In some cases if you replace the bulb and it still does not work the wires have been damaged somehow. You can check your bulbs by turning your ignition to accessory without starting the vehicle and turn the blinker on. Then get a visual on each light to confirm if it works or not.
