SOURCE: 2001 BMW 740iL is sputtering when I accelarate and shaky when idl

A tune-up and throttle body clean-up is a good idea, but mind you on those cars, the valve covers usually leak into the spark plugs and coils, causing the car to misfire. If you are replacing the plugs and find them soaked in oil; replace your valve cover gaskets or you will be back to the same problem soon after the oil soaks the new plugs back up again.

How to remove back seat on 1999 i30 plus backrest part

You need to remove the rear seat cushion to get to the holding bolts of the rear seat rest.
To remove the seat cushion, check under the front portion of the seat for any holding clips that if pulled or pressed will release the seat.
After removing the cushion, you would see a bolt on either side of the seat rest. Remove them and lift the seat upwards to dislodge it from the locking tabs behind it.

I am doing an extensive cleaning of my car, how do i remove back seat?

At least 3 ways the bottom cushions are held in place: some have bolts at the bottom of the cushion, one on each side-when bolts are removed, bottom cushion pulls out. Some have plastic clips on the bottom of the cushion, pressed straight down and into holes in the frame. To remove pull up on the bottom cushion. The other way of holding is a metal bar or rod (about 2 inches long) that is on the bottom of the cushion, close to the front of cushion. This bar fits into a metal clip that juts up from the frame. To remove this kind, you have to push hard on the front of the cushion, so the bar or rod lifts out of the clip. The rod only has to move backward about an inch and it will lift out of the clip. There are only two clips- each is about 1 foot from the ends of the cushion. These types of holds are the most difficult to get to move. Sometimes you need to put your knee against the bottom cushion and give it a hard shove backward. You will know when you have one side loose. That side can then be lifted up a bit. Then do the other side.

First check for 2 bolts at the bottom of the back seat cushion. When you have the bottom seat out, you can remove the top cushion (the backrest) out if you want to. The backrest usually has two bolts at the bottom. Remove them, and lift up the backrest and out. If no bolts at the bottom, just grab the cushion and lift up and then away.

Rear Seat on C Class coupe will not release think I ned to take the seat backing off to look at the mechanism

i beleive the release handles are in the trunk. Unless the release handle broke or cable is broken it is probably out of adjustment. Try having someone lean into the seat backrest and then pull release handle. I'm assuming your talking about your backrest release. If you are refering to the seat cushion-they can be tough but try putting some weight down on the cushion and then try pulling the release handle at each side of the seat.

Hai i would like to know how to fold the back car seat to increase cargo space in hyundai santa fe 2003

The rear seats have a pull strap located between the bottom cushion and the backrest of the rear seats used to disengage a lock to lift up the bottom cushion. The pull straps will only stick out an inch or so, or they might have fallen down between the seats and then you wont see them. Before you can lower the backrest of the rear seats, the bottom cushions have to be lifted up and forward out of the way so that the backrest may lie down flat. If your pull straps are not visible between the bottom cushion and the backrest, you may have to stick your hand between the cushions and feel for the straps. Once you find the straps, pull upward on the while lifting on the bottom cushion where the pull strap is located and the seat should tilt forward. Once you have manged to do this, the lever for the backrest is located on the top of the backrest. Just slide the lever and tilt the backrest to the desired position.

1999 BUICK REGAL LS 4 dr-Left rear shoulder belt stuck

You pop the bottom seat cushion first, some models depending on the trim level used a bolt on each side. Lift up the cushion and you will probably see everything you need to remove the belt, If you still need to remove it, there are 4 blots at the bottm of the backrest of the seat.
