Hole new distributer, wires, plugs. Now no spark. How do I check the ECM.? Or what else may prevent signal to distributer ? Thanks for the help
You may have firing out of order or you could also try the timing too theres also an oxygen censer that is usually in the throttle body that if bad can also cause the rough idling and not start but also if your motor is a turbo and has a waste gate and your vacuum lines are hooked up wrong there could also be a problem there... Are you getting voltage to the coil ?
Yes. I might not be checking for spark properly. How do you do it?
I use a spark tester which is a soecial spark plug with a clip on it. You can use a basic spark plug clamped to a metal surface. Be sure and check the output of the coil too. You may need a shop manual to troubleshoot the ignition system by doing pin tests.

It will start and run rough. I will change oxygen sensor and post what happened

I think I would suspect the fuel injectors, especially since that is the code you are getting. Fuel injectors clog up, get dirty, stop working the way they should. They can be cleaned (you can remove them and send them to a company that cleans them and makes them like new, or, they can be cleaned in the car by some garages, or, you can get a can of Sea Foam spray and spray it into your throttle housing several times to try to do some cleaning that way, or, you can dump a can of Sea Foam (non-spray) into your gas tank and run it with the fuel through your injectors). You should probably check when you first start the car to see if you are getting any leakage from one or another injector (one or another may look moist or wet if the seals are leaking). You can also do the long screwdriver test (hold the bit of the screwdriver against each injector in turn and listen with your ear against the other end to see if each is clicking regularly). I would try the Sea Foam first.

The spark plugs are numbered starting on the drivers side (1) to the passenger side (4), the distributor rotates clockwise, and the firing order is 1 - 3 - 4 - 2

Most of the handas have a pick up inside the distributor behind the rotor button take off the black cover inside the distributor and two screws hold it on with two wires on it. If that go's bad your car will not start i would start there

Check for split hose's around the inlet manifold.Sounds like a vacuum leak.

Inside the distributor is the ignition module. This is the box under the dist rotor that has 3 or 4 wires to it. Your local auto zone can check these to see if it is the problem once you have it out of the car. Also check for cracks in it. Under high heat conditions these are known to crack and let moisture inside the unit causing failure. Good luck, hope it helps
