Remote Start doesn't work

To reset the anti theft on your 2006 lincoln zephyr, turn your ignition key from off to run 8 times and depress any button on your remote.

Have you tried replacing your remote key and see if this solves your problem

Replace the BCM.

The thing to do is have the vehicle hooked up to diagnostic scan tool . Viewing engine sensor data ,see whats off . The computer may think the vehicle is warmer then it is an giving it less fuel . Checking coolant temp sensor data , IAT - intake air temp sensor . 048 Engine Hard to Start or No Start Scan Data for Starting Problems

Where you at Kim,north pole,helping Santa,lol,How many cold cranking amps is your battery,may need a stronger one,Try this to see,remove battery overnight,store in your warm house,then in morning install back in car and see if it will start,if it does then battery is too weak for your Lincoln.Also metal shrinks in cold weather.

I would get the battery checked,if they fail they make the car do all sorts of weird things.Also get the earths of the battery and other looms checked.If a computer or electrical item isnt earthed properly,that too can cause odd things

if one side works, its not going to be a fuse, whoever installed it needs to recheck it if that is possible,, On those bulbs its very important not to touch the actual bulb, as the oil in the body will cause them to over heat and burn out faster . If you can't have the installer check the bulb again,, remove the retaining ring that holds them in place,, remove the bulb , and check it with a meter , check any wiring that leads to the socket to be sure its plugged in completely

battery needs to be changed. I have an 08 altima for two and a half years and have already had to replace battery in both remotes. Purchased them at Radio Shack.

I found that if you take the ash tray out there is a little hole. shine a light in it and you should be able to see a slide mechanism on it push it over to the side and the door will lock,might want to put a little lube in it and that worked for my 06 zephyr
