This seems to have a wiring problem nothing else. you need to get the wiring checked from a professional machanic.

Hello!
Sounds strange. If the water pump was really replaced, then they should have replaced the thermostat (which often causes such problems), also only correct thermostat must be used. (best bought from the dealer)
The only other thing I can suspect is the head gasket damage, but I would double check the thermostats first.
Hope this helps!

Either hook the jumper cables to the battery in the trunk or hook the postive to the postive stud under the hood( passenger side near the firewall) and the ground to the block.

According to service manual fuses are 23, 27, 31, and 46 for instrumentation. If fuses are ok check the wire harnas connector on the instrument cluster and on the OBC computer.
If this checks ok, check if there is power on the wire harnas for the instrumentation. I dont know which pins is neg and pos but a multimeter will tell you quickly. If power is on the wire harnas the printed circuit board coul be damaged.
