05 Jeep Wrangler High Beams Work, Low Beams dont

I have an 05 Wrangler and the high beams work, but the low beams dont. I have already chaged the bulbs (same thing happens), checked all fuses (they are good), and I think the wiring is good since the high beams work (havent noticed any problems with it). I think it is either the switch or relay, but I am not sure where the relays are for the lights.

I have teh same problem with my 1997 Jeep Wrangler. On mine the low beams work fine for the first 30 to 45 minutes of driving but if I go further than that the low beams stop working. I high beams continue to work fine. I am at a total loss as to why this is happening.

There are no relays for the headlights. Your problem could be from the headlight switch. You would have to check and see if you have power coming out of the switch on the low beam side. Check with a test light.

see WIRING?
see HL?
see 8w-50
its all there.
use a voltmeter to find the point of lost power.

did you say the flash work but highs dont??
if switch pos, 2 works and 3 dont, the switch is bad
if spich pos 3 works and 2 dont, same.
see? they use the same power sources, and same lamp path

Replace the dimmer switch. Contact may be fused together if the column stalk switch has no effect.

I have a 2001 Jeep wrangler. the headlights do not come on. Only the high beams come on if the switch is held on.

sounds like the multifunction switch failure

disconnect the switch and jump the light blue/orange wire to the violet/white wire

assuming the low beams work then replace the multifunction switch

High beam problem

Just to clarify, the high beam and low beam bulbs are the same bulb. It is a dual element bulb. If the bulbs and switch are known good, check the high beam relay.

Head lights on 1990 jeep wrangle won't work

Ckeck the headlight connections they are notorious for corroding. Check the ground connection for the lights. Pull your dimmer switch back as if you were flashing a car to pass and see if they work there. If they do you have a dimmer switch problem.
