Are their any chrysler recalls relating to the instrument cluster

why is it when something breaks or burns out always looking for a recall ----no recall on electrical only one and its fuel related

Is the air bag light lit on the instrument cluster ? If so , could be clock spring problem . Do you know what a clock spring is ?

Faulty instrument cluster.It will need to be replaced.I would check for any recalls because GM has had instrument cluster recalls in the past for this same problem.

If the fuses are good there should be a dial that adjusts the brightness of the dash panel.If this dial doesn't work then the bulbs for the dash panel might be blown out.

No there is no recall for this paticuliar problem, if you wish to read the recalls for this year and other affected years go to the link below. Recalls are safety related, and this is kind of a gray area.

If you have replaced or had the battery checked out and if you have had the charging system checked out and still the battery is drained overnight, I probably have the answer. I had this same problem for a couple years and AAA was ready to cancel me. Mine turned out to be a bad instrument cluster. This item is on recall by Dodge and if it is the instrument cluster, repair and replacement is covered on the recall. You can go the Dodge/Chrysler website and check you vin against the recall list. They had to replace mine twice before the problem was resolved. Your local dealership should be able to help you with this. I had to take it to a well known facility which specialized in auto electrical problems. They traced it to the instrument cluster right away and I used their report when I took it to the dealership for the second time. BUT IT IS A RECALL ITEM AND REPLACEMENT, IF BAD IS COVERED!!! (just a little good news if this is the problem).

Probably too late but I had the same problem yesterday. Try changing your battery. It sounds crazy but it worked for me.
