When you released the cold end, it probably blew out some residue. Remove both hose from the engine and blow it out both ways with a water hose or air compressor. Add water each time, with air. Do this several times. I blow them into a box to see what comes out and when it stops coming out. This helps. Next would be replacing the heater core..All day job for me. I've done it. You have to remove the entire dash board and plenum.

Right side blend actuator bad or system recalibration required

If your engine is reaching normal operating temperature, you have one of 2 possible issues, either the hot coolant is not circulating in the heater core, or your ventalation system is not allowing the cabin air to circulate thru the heater box. To determine which issue is causing you the problem, raise your hood and locate the 2 hoses going thru the firewall on the passenger side, (note: do not confuse these with the 2 a/c coolant lines that go to your evaporator), one of the hoses is an inlet for the heated coolant, and the other is a return. Let the car warm to proper operating temp, then feel both hoses, they should both heat up. If not, the heated coolant is not getting to the heater core. If they do, then you have a problem with the circluation in your duct system that is not allowing the air to be circulated in the heater box. Good Luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!

Sounds like 2 different issues. Change the thermostat and then check the heater core valve for the left right issue.
