When it is percolating, can you feel if the bottom radiator hose is hot and the top one cool? If so your thermostat could be bad. Are your cooling fans coming on at the right times and last but not least, do you have any water in your oil? That could be a bad head gasket and the percolating would be the exhaust gases bubbling back through the radiator.

Thermostat is faulty.
It can be found by grabbing the top radiator hose and following back to the engine. The housing this hose is clamped to is the thermostat housing. Remove the 2 bolts, and the cover o reveal the thermostat.
It should cost less than $20 for a thermostat and gasket.
Replace it and your overheating isues will go away.

ok, is it losing fluid? check the floor board by the passenger seat, up under the dash, is it wet? Your heater-core may be shot. The core is tucked up behind your glove compartment. If it's plugged, water won't circulate and won't be able to be cooled, causing it to overheat.
