I have a 2005 gmc sierra 1500 i put new tires on it now i notice a huming roaring noise coming from the front end what could this be they are not mud tires or a all terrain tire just street tires?

Its a noise like a mud tire makes, from start to stop it gets more noticeable under accelaration

What this sounds like you have a bad wheel bearing. The best thing to do is lift it up put some jack stands under each side of the axle and manualy lift the wheels see if there is any play on it .Move the wheel up and down and side to side agressively .you should have no play on it.keep me posted and I can guide you on changing the bearings.

Stones in tire treads? Pull the rear wheels for a look-see. Inspect brakes and all hardware. Have then lubed. Make sure linings or pads are not glazed to eliminate squeaking noise.Make sure parking brake works properly and smoothly. It may beone or more of those things. Good luck there, pardner.

I have a 2005 gmc sierra 1500 what would cause a roaring sound coming from my truck?

Hi. the noise is likely because you now have tires with a more aggressive tread. The bumpier the tire, the more noise you will hear. Had the same issue with my Sierra.
