SOURCE: Oil Life Reset

Put the key in the ignition, and turn it on (don't crank the engine) while holding out on the small instrument cluster stalk near the clock. When the key is turned on, keep holding this stalk out, and push and release the other one (the one on the right). This should turn the "oil service" message to "----". Turn off the key and then release the left stalk. When you turn the car back on, the message should be gone.

SOURCE: reset oil life display after oil change?

THIS SHOULD BE IT.
How do I reset the Engine Oil life monitor and how does it work? TO reset To reset the Engine Oil Life monitor do the following:
Reset Oil life in NAV/DIC by (with car running) going to INFO>Oil Life>RESET
Press and HOLD until XXX turns to 100%
How does it work? The oil life monitor is a pretty sophisticated algorithm.

GM "The GM Oil Life System will automatically adjust the oil change interval based on engine characteristics, driving habits and the climate in which the vehicle is operated."

Cigarette lighter not working on my pontiac g8

Don't change fuses unless blown. Usually, in the G8, the aux power F14 20 amp fuse blows before either the F22 or the F13. I bet that's what is blown in yours--it's usually what blows in mine.

My pontiac g6 2007 says the oil is at 20% what does this mean

That is your Oil Life indicator. That means that is is almost time for an oil change. If your oil has recently been changed, then it was not reset when the oil was changed.

This information is covered in the Owner's Manual for your vehicle on page 211.

If you do not have an Owner's Manual, You can get a free PDF version at the link below.
