If the resistance of the accelerator pedal position sensor is within the specifications shown in the Service Information and the vehicle was built prior to the following VIN breakpoints, then reprogram the PCM with the latest calibration.

If the resistance of the accelerator pedal position sensor is within the specifications shown in the Service Information and the vehicle was built after the following VIN breakpoints, then replace the PCM. If the resistance of the accelerator pedal position sensor is outside the specifications shown in the Service Information, then continue with the diagnostics for DTC P1680.

DTC P0606 Control Module Internal Performance
The DTC P0606 and P2610 set when the powertrain control module (PCM) has determined that the control module has an internal fault. The PCM performs continuous self checks of all internal circuits. There are 2 central processing units (CPU) within the control module. If the outputs from the two CPUs deviates from the standard level, a DTC P0606 sets. The control module has several internal clock or timer circuits. The DTC P2610 diagnostic monitors the internal timer circuit responsible for the ignition OFF operation of the evaporative emission (EVAP) system vacuum leak pump. If the there is an error in the control module timer, a DTC P2610 sets.

What is a p1680 mean on a 04 Envoy? there is alos some hesitation while ideling at a stop light and when u have the heater on high

Code P1680 refers to the accelerator pedal sensor, there may be a bad connection or the sensor itself is dirty and needs replacement.
The hesitation could be cause by a dirty throttle body, needs to be cleaned thoroughly front and back.

Came up with a code P1680 , can you tell what that mean's . Thank you

P1680 is Control Module Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) System Performance. Your car uses "fly by wire" meaning that when you press the gas pedal, there isn't a cable but rather a sensor that detects how far your pressing the pedal. that information is sent to the computer and in turn sends a signal to the solenoid at the intake manifold to open up. your problem is probably in the pedal assembly.

Looking for OBD codes chevy trailblazer 2004. codes p0128,p1680

The P0128 is your thermostat. Your engine isn't getting up to temperature, is probably stuck open.

P1680 has to do with your pedal position sensor. Either way, your PCM either needs to be recalibrated by the dealer OR replaced. This depends on where your VIN # falls on the list of the technical service bulletin that is out there.

2003 Trailblazer loses power, I am getting codes P1271 and P1271p/d

#PIT3138A: 02-05 Chevrolet, Buick, Oldsmobile and GMC Mid-Sized Utilities Reduced Power Light On and DTC P1680 P1221 and/or P1271 Stored in the PCM - kw fan clutch SES light power MIL 4.2 LL8 - (Nov 1, 2004)
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.
Condition/Concern:
Reduced power light on and DTC P1680 P1221 and/or P1271 stored in the PCM
Recommendation/Instructions:
Monitor the 5V reference to the Accelerator Pedal Position ( APP ) sensor, circuit 1274, using Peak Min/Max on a Fluke 87. Refer to Si document 1454678 for the 5V reference schematics. Command the fan clutch control "on" with the Tech 2 at 50%. If when commanding the fan clutch on, the 5V reverence spikes to battery voltage, the concern is the 5V reference shorted to battery voltage intermittently inside cooling fan clutch. Replace the fan clutch to repair this concern.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance.
Models:
(02 - 05 Chevrolet Trailblazer and Trailblazer EXT) and (02 - 05 GMC Envoy, Envoy XL and Envoy XUV ) and (02 - 05 Buick Rainier) and (02 - 04 Oldsmobile Bravada)
