I bought AC Delco Plugs for my 1996 GMC JIMMY and not sure of the Plug Gap setting, Are those plugs pre set and what should the proper gap be?
They should be pre-gapped, but you should always check in case someone dropped the box.
The gap is .060

This actually depends on what plug you are using. A platnium plug should gap at .060" while the conventional plug is gapped at .045". The AC delco 41-392 gaps at .060" while the AC delco rapid fire gaps at .045"
. I would recomend the 41-392 and gap it at .060" however there is some desperity in the manual and labels on this matter as platnium plugs were a newly offered back in that day.

SOURCE: what is the spark plug gap for the 99 jimmy 4.3L
The above information is correct but techbuster, there was no 2.5 in a jimmy. Especially not for the 1999 GMC 4.3 liter engine, as stated above. The only other option for those style trucks in that year was the 2.2.
