1995 Ford Thunderbird blower motor stays on

Everything ran fine until the other day. Vehicle was put into Park and heater fan kicked in, even though everything was in "Off" position. No display for temperature, although switch control for panel, defrost, etc., does properly divert direction of air flow. What could cause this?

Voltage gauge doesn't register at all while this problem persists. Other gauges are working. Changed a fuse, even though it didn't appear blown. Everything went back to normal and then, when I put the vehicle in Park, the problem popped up again.

If yours is equipped with automatic climate control, check the blower motor resistor behind the glove box.

Defrorstores stay on ,try to change to floor, ac, heat vent ,deforstores still on 1995 thunderbird lx blower motor works great.

Some cars use vacuum from the engine to open and close the doors that direct the air to different positions. It is possible that the vacuum line to the controls is cracked or disconnected.

1994 ford thunderbird no power at heater blower motor control module

I've had the same problem with my 1994 Cougar XR7. It wasn't the module control. It wasn't the fan. It was a bleepin' inline fuse; a 30. Changed the fuse and everything was working fine. That's after I had purchased a new fan motor and electronic control module. None of the book or web pages I have read mentioned that fuse, which for some reason, Ford didn't put in the fuse box with the others. So, check your inline fuse, it may be just that. And it is located past the fuse box under the dash. It'll be the same thing for the T-Bird.

I have a 95 thunderbird, the vehicle runs fine and i hadnt had any problems until one day the radiator fan wouldnt turn off, it drains the battery becasue it continues to run even after the engine is...

You could have a bad relay for the fan or the sensor that sends a signal to turn the fan on is "wanting the fan to stay on. It don't know to turn off.

Blower motor resistor

The blower motor resistor is located near the blower motor. It is held in place by 2 screws, and has a wire clip connected to it. Very simple fix.

I hope this helps you, and I wish you luck on your repair.
