Question about 2006 BMW 330i
I recently had the serpentine belt break and be replaced on our BMW, now the service engine soon light is on and I don't know how to reset it, can anyone help?
I think that is scan tool only but most mechanics have the scanners these days so it will be a lot cheaper to go to your local mechanic instead of the dealer. It prob wasn't reset last service if the light wasn't on at time of service.

Code PO340 "Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction". Now that does not mean that if you simply replace the sensor your problem will be solved. It can be simply loose, cut, or corroded wiring. It can also be something entirely different. This is where diagnostic skills come in.
