Try lookin under car in rear follow the hvac hose should be a black box around it some have hose in and out try that

did you try the spare key? are you sure it is an immobilizer light? what does the warning light look like, can you describe it? replacing the battery in the key will not help as it is not needed for the recognition of the key(this is done by an induced current).
