I cant seem to get the key to where i can take it out or get the key to start the car. was wondering if there was maybe a trick to get it out. it did this three times except the third time the key wouldn't come out other times we started it and drove away. had to tow the car home where we still cant get the key out. it is a much needed car.
Tap the ignition tumbler with a small gammer as you turn the steering wheel and wiggle the key spray some release fluid in as well if you can see if that works it ware in the tumbeler mine does it some times i spray wd40 in the key hole now and again its possiblebthey keys worn and sticking as the key is softer than the metal parts in the tumbler

I am assuming that the engine won't even turn over. could be lots of different things. The simplist is to make sure the car in in PARK , won't start if not. Other things could be , Security imobilizer if you have one. Does your key have a electronic chip in it ? Try your other set of keys if you have one. Check if battery connections are clean and tight.

I had a similar problem. Would take 5-6 attempts to start of a morning when cold. It was caused by air in the fuel lines. Once the fuel line seals were replaced problem went away.

The EIS (Electronic Ignition Switch) is malfunctioning. You will have to replace the EIS and take the car to a dealer to reprogram the keys.
