Alarm keeps going off as soon as i lock the car

use your key fob to lock and unlock the doors,if you dont have one,call your dealer,your anti theft system is going to activate soon and you wont be able to drive it

Wild guess your system has encountered an electronic "tamper".
I'd take to dealer soon. Way too complex for a long distance diagnosis.

CAR ALARM ISSUES

It can be any of the car doors not got properly locked or the door is locked but the switch is not sensing the door locked. Open and close each door again properly.

Or else its problem with any of switch wiring getting in contact with alarm wiring causing it to happen.

And last thing alarm connections need to be inspected. It's getting short somewhere in between.

Okay,heres the problem the battery is low and the alarm is going crazy without enough voltage but something to try is to connect the jumper cables and have all doors shut. leave the cables on for a few minutes, if the alarm starts to go off as soon as you connect cables then dont wait, take the key and go to drivers door and lock and unlook the door lock with the key this will shut down alarm system and then try to start the car, it should start up and let run for a while, also the computer may have lost its idle memory so this means you will need to hold the gas pedal a little to keep it running, after a minute you can slowly release it and let it idle, you will know if this needs to be done when you start the car and it dies out, you will then strat it and hold gas, just a little bit enough to keep the engine running, hope this helps, have a good day.

This does not sound like a fob fault - but a locking control module fault , either in the hardware or software of the unit. Get it checked at a Jaguar dealers. When unlocking using the key - as soon as the door is opened you should hear a chime sounding inside the car - this is a timer counting down to sounding the alarm. If you put your key in the ignition as soon as you open the door the alarm should not go off and the chime should stop. If it does not this again points to a fault in the locking controller.

spray WD-40 in the lock and put the key in also spray some just inside the door on the latch itself and keep working the key back and forth because the lock is on the driverside it is sticking can cause the alarm to go off
