1992 buick LeSabre radio problems

I recently got a newer cd player for my car from a friend so I decided to just cut the wires and connect with out a harness that worked for about 10 minuets then the radio died and never came back on it blew a couple of fuse's i replaced them but still nothing. I even reconnected all my old wires and bought a aftermarket harness and it still doesn't work and now neither does my stock radio I cannot find out whats wrong.~All the wires are connected correctly I checked thousands of times. Thanks in advance if I get some help

Ive checked every possible and I forgot to mention that the radio still lights up when I turn my car lights on. Also if I hit the power button on the radio the clock appears for about 30 seconds and shuts off. One more thing I can say on the new deck im tring to install if I hit the eject button it turns on for a couple of seconds and tries to eject the disk but it doesn't come out and while I hit the eject button i can turn the volume up and use every function on the deck but no sound or nothing and the only button that works is the eject.(I had the deck installed and working for about 10 minuets then it blew while I was driving, at the time that it blew i didn't have the ignition wire or constant battery wire taped up so they may have bumped something and that might be causing my hole problem)

If you still have the saem problem uninstall the radio & huck it up to the battrey, tie the red & yellow together & hock them to the power(red) bide of the battery connect the black to the ground & see what you get.hope you get it right.if it dosen't work out then you may have melted some wires in you dash somewhere.let me no how it goes.

How to wire cd player up in 2000 chevrolet malibu

I just discovered there are wiring harness adapters as I used one on my car to install a new cd player recently. I found this one on the internet not sure if it is the same car you have.
http://www.installer.com/item/display_item.php?it=71-1858
then you can buy a harness adapter from this adapter to the make of cd player like as an example Kenwood Cd player adapter.

A car auto store may know about these wiring harness adapters the advantage of using them is it makes it easy to install the cd player and if you ever decide to change the cd player in the future you can buy the adapter suited to the future player and plug it into the malibu car wiring adapter as the car adapter converts the factory wiring into a universal wiring standard.

A tip
make sure the radio and cd player works and the climate control work properly before completely re assembling the dash board .
I forgot the aerial cable plug !

I used Aeropro brand of wiring harness for my car that I got from
Car Accessory store in my country . I had to cut one wire and connect it to Pontrol to get my power aerial to work correctly. Which the store salesman helped me work out which wire controlled the cars power aerial

I HAVE A 92 BUICK LESABRE BUT KEY IN SWITCH TURN SWITCH NO POWER GOING TO SWITCH SIDE OF STARTER BUT WHEN I TAKE A WIRE FROM HOT SIDE OF BATTERY TO SWITCH SIDE OF STARTER AND KEY IN SWITCH TURN ON CAR...

You have no power from the switch to the starter. Check all you wiring that goes through the fire wall and look for burnt connections or just bad connections.

I unhooked the factory radio in my 1992 Buick Lesaber and am trying to hook in an after market cd player. i can get power to the cd player but no sound out of the speakers...please help me!!

the easiest way to install a aftermarket radio is with a adapter kit sold at most auto stores...such kits make all the wiring conversions for you....and save the hassle of tracing down every wire

12v constant for 93 buick lesabre

It is usually a yellow wire. You may also use the wire from the cigarette lighter or any wire that is a constant 12 volts.
