My wife's 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo just had an issue where the turn signals, ac, and windows would not work after starting up. She parked it with everything working then about a half hour later started it up. The ac did not work so she put the windows down and then the above issues happened. She drove home, turned it off it sat about 10 minutes then started it up and everything worked. Anyone have an idea what might be going on? Thank you.

i am a chrysler jeep tech. at a dealership i have seen alot of this in these jeeps 90% of the time the problem is between the driver door and the body open the door there is a rubber tube with wires inside, diconnect this ruber tube from the door pull it back and i would almost promise you will find some broken wires just strip them connect them buy colors solder them together and tape them up and your windows and or door locks will work like new

Check fuses, relays and body control modules (in that order.) If necessary get a good wiring diagram and trace systems back to see where shared power is supplied.

if door switches are ok, check the courtesy light relay located just under the front passenger side(above the fuse box)
