What is the roaring sound coming from the rear wheels

if it is a rear wheel drive car ck the gear oil , sounds like it does not have enough fluid in it, that is what make that sound , good luck and let me know how you make out ,

When driving mainly when you let off the accelerator it makes a deep roaring sound and turning to the left causes severe vibration in the steering wheel.

Rear differential fluid deterioration causes a moan/vibration noise when turning left or right. Try flushing the rear diff with honda dual pump fluid and see what happens. As far as the roaring sound on deceleration this could be in the Transmision or Transfer case. I would go to your local Honda dealer and have a qualified technician go on a test drive with you. Some noises can be difficult to diagnose.

In park with engine running everything sounds fine and smooth as can be. all fluid levels are good. when i put it in gear it sounds and feels fine. when i start rolling i hear a roar. it doesn't drive...

You might have the front wheel bearings checked out. First drive it on some curves and bear left and then bear right see which way quiets it down. That really only works if it is in the front, however the rear ones do go bad as well, however it is usually the front ones that go with a roar. Hope this helps

What would cause a loud roaring in the back seat of my 2001 Monte Carlo as I am driving?

That roaring noise should be a wheel bearing. Jack up the rear wheels and spin the tires by hand. You can hear a grinding noise if the noise inside the car is as load as you state.. The only other noise that will be like that is the differental gears inside the drive axle

Not-too-loud roar sounding

could be a wheel bearing. get the car up where you can spin the wheel, now grab the strut spring with your hand and spin the wheel. you will be able to feel "roughness" on the wheel that has a bad bearing.

I replaced all four tires on the truck and there is still a roaring sound on the back or middle of the truck it sound like a little go- cart or the muffler has a hole in it, I do not know.

Check your muffler of course, but also check the fluid level in the rear differential, the bearings on both sides of the rear tires and the U-joints. If you only have 2 wheel front wheel drive check the bearings on both rear tires.
