Starter Fluid in a 2003 Audi?????

Our mother's 2003 Audi A6 has been "sitting" for 2 years and today we tried to start it. We charged it up with jumper cables and added gas to the tank. The engine turns over but will not start. Is there any way to use starter fluid? And where should we spray it? We are not familiar with "under the hood" on an Audi. Thanks for ANY help!

Not sure if there are carbs on car or if it is direct injection. If carbs spray into float chamber(s) if injction I think you will have to spray into cylinders via holes for spark plugs. Pleae note have never used starter fluid on direc t injection my self so I am really not sure if that will work. I assume that you have checked that fuel is getting to engine. Hope this helps.

Have you tried spraying starter fluid into the air intake? If it starts you may have a fuel pump or fuel filter issue. I'm assuming that you've verified that you have spark at this point. Good luck!

Replaced brake master cylinder and now can't get the brakes bleeded.

First have someone pump the system at least five times and hold the pedal, then you open the bleeder to let the air out, close bleeder and repeat until fluid starts coming out. starting with right rear, left rear, right front and left front last. don't let fluid in master run empty.

My audi a6 4.2 transmission slips bad when car heats up what causes this?

At this point you need a complete rebuild
Once the slipping starts the clutches are burnt

After the trans is broken down then you may be
told what caused the problem but I doubt it

If you don't change the trans & power steering fluids
every 3 years you loose the trans & the steering rack
will be next & then all your other vehicles the same

Same for brake fluid--every 2 years or big dollars
for ABS Unit
