Look in one of the rear door jams of the car. There should be a plate that has tire pressure settings for different tire sizes. Verify this pressure against the tires rated max pressure, it is on the sidewall of the tire in very small print. If the recommended pressure does not exceed the max pressure, fill it to that pressure. If it exceeds the max pressure, only fill it to the max pressure. This should be checked and filled with the tires cold (ex. before driving any substantial distance)

SOURCE: 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix Thermostat

as you face the engine the thermostat bell is on the right (drivers side) Follow the radiatoe hose. Remove the two bolts and raise the bell still attatched to the hose. the thermostat is there with the rubber seal. You can gently pry the thermostat out with a screwdriver or something similar. Put in new thermostat be sure it is the same as the old one, and then replace or change the seal (be sure it is the smae size and thickness as the old one as I got the wrong size from Napa) Then replace the bell, and tighten, but not over tighten. I hope this helps!

SOURCE: Does anyone know how to reset the

Turn the key ahead to run mode, without cranking and push gas pedal to floor and back up 3 times within 5 sec, this should reset the oil change light. as for the tire pressure light there are a couple of procedures, but ensure first that the pressures are all above 28 psi, and are the same. however, without the use of a tpms tool to communicate with the tire monitor sensors it may not reset. did you have any tires changed over, or rotated? if so the use of the tpms tool is much easier to reset the light. Probably better off bringing to a tire or mechanical shop that deals with it regularly. It is actually not that difficult, but the tool will allow you to tell if a sensor is faulty, or has a weak battery, etc.. hope this helps

What is the difference between Pontiac Grand Am and Grand Prix?

The main difference between the Grand Prix and Grand Am is that the Grand Prix has a plain body and automobile AC system. On the other hand, Gand am is a curved-bodied and manual AC featured vehicle. Both the automobiles have amazing features and are different from each other in several aspects.

The parts you mentioned should be fine.

Hello on my pontiac grand prix i want to changwe my brake pads but i dnt know if i have to be careful with the tire control system

Nope, the traction control system will not be an issue, just do not damage or strain any wiring, same as you would not damage or stress the brake lines.

Tire pressure sensor

There is either a yellow button under the dash to the right of the steering column or possibly one in the fuse box. Check your manual and it will tell you for sure. If you still can't find this button, another option is to disconnect the battery and that should do it.
