I need to look at a vacuum diagram for a 1985 GMC K2500 suburban 4WD 350 V8

I found a vacuum hose that went between the brake buster and the firewall that had a round plastic valve on it. The number stamped on it was 14020691. The valve has a nipple where a hose should be connected, and there is no hose connected. Thats why I need to see a vacuum hose routing diagram.

as for our "guest" on Jan.02........"i have a 86 2.5 liter , i dont know the vacuum routing and i with i knew where fuel pump prime wire terminates within the vehicle. "????? what the hell?......first you're talking about a 2.5 (4 cylinder) that's in (eithier) a S-series Blazer/Jimmy, or p/u............did you not see that it's for a Suburban with a 350. different truck and different engine equals different diagram, but thanks anyways.

How to get access to a heater core for a 1985 GMC suburban K2500 350CID

This was the procces on an 86 chev 1/2 ton. Should be the same. Remove glove box. Undo manual controls for duct work. you'll see them there behind where the glove box was on top of the heater core housing. Bemove screws/bolts. Don't remember how many there are. Undo hose clamps in the engine compartment. Remove heater core.

Brakes hiss when applied, idle raises slightly....

You likely have an internal leak in the booster. Unplug the vacuum line from the booster, plug the rubber line with a bolt or something and see if the eliminates he noise. If it does, then your booster is bad.

Good luck.

I need a vacuum line routing diagram for a 1985 GMC Suburban. 2wd, with a/c, 5.7liter (350), 4bbl carb, Can anyone help

believe it or not your local library will have the vacuum diagrams in mitchell books or some book similar. if not find a local repair shop with all data and they will be able to look it up for you and print it. if that fails you can access all data on the internet and get access for 1 car for i think like $12 dollars. its good for a year so its well worth it.
