The changer loads the cartridge but the cd changer head unit doesn't recognize the changer
If you are getting power to the unit and you hear it clicking and making a sound when you hit the eject button, the this means that a CD is jammed in the track and while it was changing it got stuck and now causes you to see an ERROR message.
What you do is while hitting the eject button, wiggle the CD MAGAZINE up and down and side ways. This will cause the CD to fall into place and your magazine will pop out.

SOURCE: locate the cable from the Audio system to attach a CD changer
The cable is optical and is runs back to the left side of the boot or trunk i dont think it will work with the ipod D

i think there may be a fuse located on one of the wires thats attached to the radio itself, you will have to pull the radio to check it

Yes. You will need a proper Jaguar changer with the correct fibre optic leads (d2b) then It will need to be programmed to the vehicle wich can only be done by Jaguar. You may also need the correct carpet for the n/s of the boot

Yes. They can install a cd changer on your trunk. Have an audio shop do it for you and guide you on the use the cd changer.
