All three sensor lights are lit. Mechanic did a reset but they all came back on. He thinks it needs a new left front hub assembly. Does this seem right?

You have a bad hub bearing. 100% garunteed. The light is on because the bearing is so bad it hit the sensor for the abs & traction control , breaking it. So you're gonna need a bearing, a sensor, probably new brake pads, any seals{probably one} & a shop that can do it. The bearing is pressed in & needs to be pressed out. Heating & beating is not a good idea.

It sounds more like it's the wheel speed sensor that is part of the hub/bearing assembly. Since you have had the hub replaced many times I would look for the electrical connectors for the wheel speed sensor as the problem. An easy no cost fix.
BTW...GM has issued a service bulletin for the hub/bearing kit that states NOT to use the old style nut that comes in some kits as it will cause premature bearing failure due to it's design and the high torque requirements. The correct shaft spindle nut part number to use is p/n 10289657 and is torqued to 178 nm. The GM bulletin number is 03-04-18-001.

Have you worked on your own vehicles,? The speed sensor is a 1 bolt 10 min job. The real question is that the problem? Who told you ,a professional who actually tested it. Why not have them finish the task and replace it

dont think its computer, but you have one for engine and another for abs/trac and then body computer, scan engine codes and go from there, hope this helps.
