Question about Chrysler Cars & Trucks
Air works then suddenly no air moves through the vents. Sounds as though the vents have shut. AC may be working but air not moving. No single event seems to precede this malfunction. We have replaced water heater and thermostat.
Your freon level is low, and not circulating on slow compressor speeds. Stop by any shop that has a sign stating they work on a/c and they can recharge it for you in a few minutes. Here where I live they charge about $20.00 labor plus a charge for the freon they put in, they sell it by the pound.

your heating coil is clogged. Ive got the same car. took it to dealership they fixed it. I would try a good ole boy. He will know what to do and It will be much cheaper.

SOURCE: heater /ac
i had this exact same problem with my 98 explorer. your blend actuator (blend doors) are not morking. these are on the passenger side under the dash. getting to them will be dificult, but it can be done. you will need to take apart the heater box, to fix them. (the big black box under the dash).

you need to loosen the clamp on the throttle body and unplug the map sensor then there are two clips on the other end pull that out and you should be able to pull the filter out you don't need to take the box off.
