My 92 pontiac boneville has a new battery and it does not have electricity to start the car, beside that the horn stays beeping when I plug the cables to the battery...what can it be?.

After checking the fuses, check the ground wire from the engine to the body. Frankster016

REPLACE THE FUSES THEN DISCONNECT THE FACTORY ALARM AND RE-ACTIVATE IT. IF ANYTHING TRY IT WITH ANOTHER BATTERY FIRST.

Check the oil level to see if its low. If the oil is fine, this can be very serious. in this case, you will need to check the oil pressure sending unit. make sure it is not malfunctioning. replace if so.

Now, if the sending unit checks out ok, this will be a faulty oil pump or, a clogged oil screen. replace both if found to be damaged in any way.

It is shut down in an alarm. The owners manual says to unlock the passenger door to turn off the alarm and allow the engine to start. I had the same problem when I bought a 1996 Jetta whith a dead battery.
