Sputters at idle. more so when warm. shudders at 50 mph during hwy or freeway use. normal driving gas it it will blow past shudder.

There is a rubber boot/elbow that goes into the PCV valve. That valve can get a hole in it which will cause the sputtering and such.

2002 Pontiac Montana trans problem

no I don't think so , it is only the torque converter clutch engaging and disengaging due to engine load. if you want to test this. go on steady speed over 50 mph no gas pedal movement. touch lightly the brake pedal but not braking and release . during this see the rpm drop down and raise

hope it helps

Ok i change my speed sensor twice on my 97 camry but my spedometer is still jumping and the car jerks a little, it feels like when presse the gas pedal it goes crazy but when i let off it catches the speed...

You will need to replace the speedometer in the dash, there is another sensor inside which can not be replaced separately. this sensor actually sends the speed information to the computer.

1993 jeep cherokee randomly stumbles power when going down freeway

replace your fuel filter....i had a monte carlo that did the exact same thing....ran great untill i jumped on the hwy with it....come to find out it sat up for a while and rust and crud developed in the gas tank...i should of droped the tank to clean it but i chose to replace the fuel filter every its the easiest and cheapest thing to start just seems like if it was your timing it wouldnt run right at all and a fuel pump is usually a part that works or it doesnt work, and if it doesnt work, well, your not gonna go anywhere then.....good luck with it
