Problem with 2001 Suzuki Esteem
O2 sensor chevy
??????????????????????????????????????
is this an engine swap, chev to suz or suz to chev?
and what is the quesiton, no actual question was posted, ????????
Did you have a manual with you to find the torque specs on the job you were preforming? If not your gasket job will be too tight in some areas or too loose in others!
I'm guessing you have a 1.8 liter engine. Below is a picture of its location. As far as replacing it, the transmission as well as rge flywheel or driveplate needs to be removed in order to get at it to replace it. Not just a simple replacement of a sensor. Hope this helps.....
On the Esteem 1.6L: the Crankshaft Position Sensor is located on the right side (passenger side) of the engine Oil Pan.
For the Esteem 2.0L: the CKP is located behind the engine Flywheel in the back of the engine block. It is necessary to remove the transmission to service the sensor.
take it to a mechanic trust me, i had to replace mine after 6 days of trying to figure out how to remove the bottom bolt i took it to a shop if you need to know more email me [email protected]
I am having the same problem. The garage suggested the crankshaft sensor but its an expensive part and if it doesn't work I am stuck with it. Did you get yours figured out?
