THE FAN RUNS FOR 11 MINUTES AFTER CAR IS TURNED OFF
This is normal for most vehicles, it is because the water temp in radiator continues to rise after you shut the engine off. would not worry about it unless it dose not shut off at all. or never runs
These days the fan will run in most any vehicle after stopping the engine, until the engine cools down. Of course, you could call your Chevy dealer and ask them...

You need to get the computer scanned. This can be done at Auto Zone or similar parts stores free of charge. More than likely you will just need new spark plugs and/or plug wires but I cannot be certain without the engine code.

Your car has a OBD2 hook up under the dash somewhere on the drivers side, You have to have a computer to hook up to that ODB plug and reset it, If you live near a Autozone they will clear the code for you for free, One other thing you try is disconnecting your battery for about 30 mins, that works on alot cars to reset the check light.
