No fuel from injector fuel pump and presser good. starting fluid fires on crank or cam sensor ?
If it starts with starter fluid, there is nothing wrong with the ignition, so `the sensor query is not applicable. It is a fuel starvation problem. You say no fuel from pump and pressure good, which is it? If the pump isn't working, it can't build pressure. If the pump is working and it does have proper pressure, you may have a problem with the injector circuit not working. Post back with your answer. I'll try to help you solve it.

IF you are able to jump the vehicle using cables connected to another car then it is a power issue, if the vehicle stays running after starter you can most likely rule out the regulator, it sound like the battery is weak and dieing, it can be strong enough to run the radio without having the power to start the ignition.

The fuel pump has 2 sources of power, when you crank the engine power to the pump is supplied through the cranking circuit of the ignition switch, after it starts the power comes from the run circuit, you most likely have an issue with the ignition switch.

15 amp fuse in fuse box under the dash...by the drivers left leg.
Do a complete tune up plugs wires cap rotor. The spark gets stronger when your accelerating and this is when some electrical problems break down.

I had something with these same symptoms as this happen to me last year. in my case the actual fuel injector was jambed and did not feed the injector assembly any fuel even though everything else was fine. I had the injector replaced and now it runs like a charm.

no fuel from injector. [ fuel pump and presser good.] that's what i ment, I don't have a pressure gage but i jumped the fuel pump relay, then pulled clamp and hose off and it pumps like crazy. i tryed to stop fuel with my thumb over end of hose and couldn't . so im thinking that there is enough pressure? i checked autozone for new injector wow 195.00 didn't expect that much. but i did see they have an injector tester light for 25 , but my room mate said i didn't need that just use my multimeter, witch makes sense.what do you think any thing i can do? much appreciate any help!
oh ya an you dont think bad crank or cam sensor would strop injector from firing?
O.K. I see what you meant. Yes, that does sound like enough pressure. And yes, you can check injector circuit with a meter, or acfually, I prefer using a test light. Here's how: pull off an injector connector. clip testlight lead to a ground (or meter to ground) and probe the connector with key on. Should have a steady light (or voltage) on one of the wires. If so, injector drive circuit is working, now check injector ground circuit: move testlight lead to the POSITIVE battery post and probe the injector wire that did not light up, while someone cranks the car. If ground circuit is working you should now have a blinking light (or meter will be showing voltage in a rapid on-off sequence). If both tests work, the injector circuit is working right to pulse, ( By shooting power into the ground circuit and cranking the car, computer will temporarily ground the circuit, for injector pulse. That's how you get the blinking light on the ground circuit.), If no steady light, check injector drive circuit . Sorry, no wiring diagram, so I don't know if power comes off ignition switch, or from the computer, or exactly how it arrives to injector. If no blinking light, check ground circuit from injector to computer.
Those two sensors (crank and cam) are for adjusting or changing spark timing in the ignition . Don't believe they affect injector circuit. Fuel trim by the computer relies mainly on the oxygen sensor. Good luck, you may have to check a wiring diaqgram to find your problem. You can register for free at autozone.com and list you make and model. I think they would show a wiring diagram, and maybe some helpful information to help you get your geo running.
How did the injector test come out?
By the way, there should be a fuse for the injector. Be sure and check that.
Just found a little more-maybe you are right about the sensors: http://geometroforum.com/search/?c=1&...
