The relay is located down by the radiator on the left hand side. it is actully a cooling fan module and is a solid state relay so therefore can't be ohmed to check for continuity.it is about 2" square and is attached to the frame.

If you are talking about the cooling fan relay for the radiator there is no low speed and high speed relay. There is only one relay and it is behind the grill revitted to the bumper rail. It is doesnt look like you typical relay.

I am not sure on this one but I think the left front headlight has to be removed. Also I think these are riveted on and you will have to drill the rivets and gently use a chisel to get them off.

SOURCE: 2001 chrysler town country ex 3.8 v-6 how to put

the radiator fan relay does not look like a relay at all. on this car is a solid state relay meaning there are no moving parts. it is a black plastic box with small metal rods sticking out of it in a grid (for cooling). it is located on the metal bumper (not the one you see from front of vehicle, the one behind it) you can get to it by removing the grill or just taking out the top screws and pulling it back.

Radiator fans don`t work on town and country van causing engine to overheat

The radiator fan relay is located behind the grill on the driver's side of the vehicle. There is no relay in the distribution box. There is a 40 amp fusible link, however, in that box.
The relay (behind the grill) works in conjunction with the coolant temperature sensor, the A/C high pressure switch, the transmission temperature sender and the PCM. This relay will run the fans from 30% to 99% of full speed based on the signal coming from the PCM. This is all according to the official Chrysler shop manuals that I have for my 2005 Town and Country van.

My raditor fan stays on in my 1997 town and country

cooling fans stay on, engine could be overheating, faulty cooling fan relay or pcm could be faulty.best get vechicle code scan before spending too much money you need scan to see what engine coolant temperature is,scanner can tell you if engine getting too hot could have partially closed thermostat, clogged radiator cores clogged engine block coolant passages clogged also the heater core, if engine not overheating the code scanner will tell you if you have faulty cooling fans relay or pcm failure.
