P0103 HYUNDAI - Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit High InputPossible causes- Dirty mass air flow sensor
- Dirty mass air filter
- Mass air flow sensor harness is open or shorted
- Mass air flow sensor electrical circuit poor connection
- Intake air leaks
- Faulty mass air flow sensor
Tech notesBefore replacing the mass air flow sensor, try replacing the air filter and cleaning the air flow sensor with low compress air or mass air flow sensor cleaner. Reset code and drive vehicle. If the code comes back, it may be necessary to replaced the mass air flow sensor.
P0112 HYUNDAI - Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit Low InputPossible causes- Dirty air filter
- Intake air temperature (IAT) sensor harness is open or shorted
- Intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical circuit poor connection
- Faulty intake air temperature sensor
When is the code detected? An excessively low voltage from the sensor is sent to ECM.

P0103 OBD-II Trouble Code Technical Description Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit High Input What does that mean? Basically this means that there is a problem with the Mass Air Flow High (MAF) sensor or circuit. A more technical description would be that the MAF circuit had higher than expected voltage (air flow). Other MAF sensor circuit DTC trouble codes are P0100, P0101, P0102, and P0104. Symptoms You will likely not notice any serious drivability problems, although there may be symptoms such as a general decrease in power or sluggishness. Causes A code P0103 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: The MAF may be disconnected, or a wiring connection may be bad The MAF sensor may be damaged The vehicle computer may be faulty (very rare) Possible Solutions The simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back. Then start with the cheapest, easiest repair procedures: Verify that the Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring is connected properly and that there are no broken / frayed wires. Inspect for any air leaks near the MAF sensor. Take the MAF out and clean it using a spray cleaner such as brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner. Be gentle with the sensor. Check the voltage of the MAF sensor (refer to a repair manual for vehicle specific information) Replace the MAF sensor. Truck dies when idling

HI
first I would like to tell you, do this procedure only if the 5th digit of your VIN is C or K.

Description

The engine control module (ECM) learns the idle position of the throttle plate to ensure the correct idle. Anytime the throttle body is cleaned or replaced, the ECM must learn the new throttle position. The idle may be unstable or a DTC may set if the throttle position is not learned.

Conditions for Running the Throttle Learn Procedure

• DTCs P0101, P0102, P0103, P0107, P0108, P0111, P0112, P0113, P0506, and P0507 are not set.

• The engine speed is between 450-4,000 RPM.

• The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) is greater than 5 kPa.

• The mass air flow (MAF) is greater than 2 g/s.

• The ignition 1 voltage is greater than 10 volts.

Throttle Learn

Important: Do NOT perform this procedure if DTCs are set. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code

(DTC) List - Vehicle.

1. Start and idle the engine in PARK for 3 minutes.

2. With a scan tool, monitor desired and actual RPM.

3. The ECM will start to learn the new idle cells and Desired RPM should start to decrease.

4. Ignition OFF for 60 seconds.

5. Start and idle the engine in PARK for 3 minutes.

6. After the 3 minute run time the engine should be idling normal.

Important: During the drive cycle the check engine light may come on with idle speed DTCs. If idle speed codes are set, clear codes so the ECM can continue to learn.

* If the engine idle speed has not been learned the vehicle will need to be driven at

speeds above 70 km/h (44 mph) with several decelerations and extended idles.

7. After the drive cycle, the engine should be idling normally.

* If the engine idle speed has not been learned, turn OFF the ignition for 60 seconds

and repeat step 6.
8. Once the engine speed has returned to normal, clear DTCs.
Good Luck

The Fault Code: P0112 IAT CKT Low Input on my 2000 Accent gl

P0112 - Intake Air Temperature Circuit Low Input
Usually the P0112 is caused by a bad IAT (internally shorted or open or otherwise damaged), but it could also be:
  • No reference voltage to the IAT sensor due to an open wire
  • Excessively high intake air temperatures
  • Short to ground on signal circuit
  • Damaged IAT connector
  • Bad PCM

2 - Failed Throttle Valve Control Module
Look for broken hoses, vacuum lines, leaking gaskets, anything that could cause air to escape. Check your vacuum lines carefully by using a propane UNLIT propane torch and go around every single vacuum line with the engine running. If the engine rpms increases, you have found the leak, check for any connectors that may have become unplugged or burnt or broken,, It appears that you have a circuit loss,, check the fuses

Looking for ways to correct my check enngine light; the following codes p01400 and p0112 on a 07 6 cycl trailblazer? be advised i just changed out the evap solenoid?

Well the code for the p01400 is for the evap solenoid. But, it could have a wiring problem.
The p0112 is for the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.

Could they be related?
